Have you ever been hit over the head with a message?
Like it seems everywhere you look, you see or hear a version of the same message, and it becomes obvious God’s trying to get your attention?
That’s where I am right now. 🙋🏼♀️
The message: Make the most of each day, each moment – invest my time, making sure I am doing what I am truly made to do and called to do.
Like all of us, I’m pulled in a lot of directions, and it has been easy for me to be pulled off focus, away from what I’m called to invest in, lulled into thinking I can do it tomorrow.
But life’s too short to take any day for granted – I need to be fully present in savoring the closing of seasons and preparing for new ones. I need to be purposeful, actively choosing how I’m spending my time, rather than doing life by default.
So this is my message to you too – life is full of seasons, big and small. Make the most of the closing of the season you’re in, and actively prepare for your next one.
Purposefully choose what you’re doing, and what you WANT to be doing in your next season.
Don’t do life by default – just carried along with the stream.
If you’re not loving an aspect of your life, what you’re doing, what you’re studying, change it.
If you’re not excited about what’s next for you, actively figure out what would be exciting to you.
Life’s too short to be stuck in a job you hate, to dread Mondays, to spend time worrying about your future, wasting your precious time.
Don’t waste any day because you’re not sure what to do. Reach out for help. Actively seek something that lights you up, that fits you better.
If you’re not sure what you’re made to do, reach out – I can help. That’s what I’m made to do – helping others find their thing and make it happen.
Check out the Work with Me page on my website. Read testimonials from others who’ve been just where you are to give you hope. Schedule a call to discuss working one-on-one together.
I’ll close with one of the things God used to get my attention – I hope it encourages you too:
“A New Day” by Dr. Heartsill Wilson
This is the beginning of a new day. God has given me this day to use as I will.
I can waste it—or use it for good, but what I do today is important, because I am exchanging a day of my life for it!
When tomorrow comes, this day will be lost forever, leaving in its place something I have traded for it.
I want it to be gain, and not loss; good, and not evil; success and not failure; in order that I shall not regret the price I have paid for it.
Make the most of today and tomorrow too – I’m here to help!
Blessings,
